At WERIDE, we strive not only to offer an important service, but to do so in an eco friendly manner for the benefit of us all.
We recognise and support RMBC (our local licensing authority) in their strategy to make the Borough a clean and welcoming environment.
Alongside good business practice to minimise our environmental impact, all our vehicles are either hybrid or full electric.
Doing Our Bit
Our vehicles can carry up to 8 passengers promoting multi user journeys, reducing emissions and fuel consumption which results in improved air quality
Our plug in hybrid, mild hybrid and fully electric vehicles are quieter than their traditional alternatives, contributing to a more pleasant urban environment
We're reducing our carbon footprint by ensuring stop/start technology in our vehicles is active and so automatically shutting off the engine when the vehicle is stationary and idling or waiting
Our drivers local knowledge of the area means more cost effective, direct and less environmentally impactful routes
